These terms apply when you use shimora.in or buy from Shimora, a brand of Vestern Vivian Jewels Limited, [registered address TBC], GSTIN [TBC]. By placing an order you agree to them.

Our jewellery

Every piece is BIS hallmarked. The HUID of the exact piece you receive is printed on your invoice.
Our diamonds are lab-grown, unless a product page says otherwise. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, grown rather than mined.
Gold purities are stated on each product page (for example 9KT, 14KT or 18KT). Weights are shown as net metal weight and, where given, approximate gross weight.
Handmade pieces and natural stones vary slightly. Photos are as accurate as we can make them; screens and lighting can change how a colour looks.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. The price breakup shows metal, making, stones and GST.
The metal value in our prices follows the gold rate on the day it was set. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
If a price or description is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers.

Orders

Your order is confirmed when you receive our order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a piece is unavailable or we suspect fraud.

Made for you and engraving

Custom designs start with a CAD render and a confirmed price. The deposit terms shown on the Design your ring page apply.
Estimates on our site are indicative; the confirmed price is the one sent with your CAD.
Engraved, personalised and made-to-order pieces are made for you and cannot be returned, except for a manufacturing fault.

Shipping

We ship free and fully insured within India. Dispatch and delivery times are shown on our Shipping & Returns page and are estimates.

Returns and refunds

Unused pieces can be returned within 7 days of delivery under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your account and conduct

Please give accurate details and keep your account secure. Do not misuse the site, copy its content or interfere with its working.

Our content

The Shimora name, designs, photographs and text on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be used without permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Otherwise, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of [city TBC]. For any complaint, write to our Grievance Officer at contact@shimora.in; we acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require.
